Shipping Guide

Everything you need to know about how shipping works on EBLIT — for both sellers and buyers.

For Sellers — Step by Step

1

Accept the Risk Disclosure

After payment is confirmed, you will be asked to review and accept EBLIT's shipping risk disclosure. This confirms you understand the shipping terms and agree to fulfill your obligations.

2

Set Your Ship Date

You must set a ship date within 48 hours of payment confirmation. Failure to set a ship date within 48 hours results in automatic transaction cancellation, a full buyer refund, and a strike on your account.

3

Print the EBLIT Label

EBLIT generates a prepaid shipping label for you. Print this label and attach it securely to your package. Do not use any other shipping label — only EBLIT-generated labels are covered by our tracking and dispute systems.

4

GPS-Verify at Carrier Drop-Off

When you arrive at the carrier location, open EBLIT and confirm your GPS location. EBLIT verifies you are physically at the carrier before marking the item as dropped off. This GPS verification protects you from false claims that the item was never shipped.

5

Track Your Shipment

Once dropped off, EBLIT tracks your shipment automatically. Both you and the buyer receive real-time tracking updates. You do not need to manually update the tracking status.

For Buyers — Step by Step

1

Review Insurance Option

At checkout, you are offered the option to add shipping insurance for 1.5% of the item value. Insurance covers loss, theft, and carrier damage up to $5,000 for standard items. Items not insured are covered only by standard carrier liability, which is typically $100 for USPS. We strongly recommend insuring high-value items.

2

Accept the Risk Disclosure

After payment, review and accept EBLIT's shipping risk disclosure. This confirms you understand the delivery and dispute requirements, including the unboxing video requirement.

3

Track Your Package

Once the seller drops off your package, you will receive real-time tracking updates through the EBLIT app and email.

4

Record Your Unboxing Video — MANDATORY

When your package arrives, record a continuous unboxing video before opening the package. This video must show the condition of the outer packaging and the entire unboxing process. This video is binding evidence in any dispute. Without it, you cannot dispute item condition, damage, or missing components. No exceptions.

5

Confirm Receipt

After unboxing, confirm receipt in the EBLIT app. You have 12 hours from confirmed delivery to raise a dispute. After 12 hours, payment is automatically released to the seller.

Insurance

Shipping insurance is optional but strongly recommended for items over $100. EBLIT charges 1.5% of the item value as the insurance premium. Standard coverage is up to $5,000. For items valued above $5,000, contact support before listing for custom coverage options. Insurance covers loss, theft, and damage in the carrier network. It does not cover vehicles or items damaged after delivery. Claims must be filed within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date or last tracking scan. Approved claims are paid within 10 business days. A $15 return processing fee applies to insured carrier damage returns.

Never Ship Without Recording an Unboxing Video

As a buyer, your unboxing video is your only protection against item condition disputes. If you do not record a video, you forfeit your right to dispute item condition, damage, or missing parts. Record a continuous video from the moment the package arrives on your doorstep through to the full unboxing.
