Seller Agreement
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Seller Eligibility
To sell on EBLIT, you must: be at least 18 years of age; complete EBLIT's identity verification process through Stripe Identity; connect a valid Stripe Connect account for payout receipt; have a verified phone number; and maintain an account in good standing with no active permanent bans. EBLIT reserves the right to reject any seller application or revoke seller privileges at any time.
2. Listing Requirements
Every listing on EBLIT must include: accurate title and description; minimum 1 photograph of the actual item (not stock photos); accurate condition disclosure; a valid unique identifier (IMEI for mobile devices, VIN/Chassis Number for vehicles, Serial Number, or other applicable identifier as required by item category); accurate price; accurate item location. Listings for vehicle categories may only offer meetup delivery. Listings with false, misleading, or incomplete information will be removed and may result in account suspension.
3. Unique Identifier Requirement
EBLIT requires a unique identifier for every listing. This is a core platform requirement and is non-negotiable. The purpose of the unique identifier system is to: prevent duplicate listings of the same item; enable ownership tracking and transfer; detect unauthorized re-listings of items that have already been sold; combat fraud and stolen property listings. You represent and warrant that the unique identifier you provide is accurate, genuine, and has not been altered or tampered with. Providing a false, altered, or fabricated unique identifier is grounds for immediate permanent account termination and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
4. Pricing and Negotiations
You set your own price. You may enable or disable price negotiation on a per-listing basis. When price negotiation is disabled, buyers cannot initiate chat with you regarding that listing. When price negotiation is enabled, any agreed price in chat is binding once the buyer proceeds to checkout at that price. You may end a negotiation with a buyer at any time before payment is secured. Once payment is secured, the transaction price is final and cannot be changed.
5. Transaction Completion Obligations
Once a buyer's payment is secured (confirmed by Stripe's payment_intent.succeeded webhook), you are obligated to complete the transaction. For shipping transactions: you must set a ship date within 48 hours of payment confirmation; you must drop off the package at the carrier by your confirmed ship date; you must use the EBLIT-generated shipping label; you must not request payment or conduct any part of the transaction outside the Platform. For meetup transactions: you must propose a meetup date and time within the required deadline; you must arrive at the agreed location on time; you must take the required verification photo when prompted, allowing the buyer to compare it to you (or your representative) at the handoff; you must participate in the code exchange process in good faith. Failure to complete a confirmed transaction results in: full refund to the buyer; a strike issued to your account; potential temporary or permanent ban depending on strike history.
6. Seller Payouts
Seller payouts are processed through Stripe Connect. You must maintain an active, valid Stripe Connect account to receive payouts. Payouts are initiated upon transaction completion. Payout amounts are calculated as: sale price, minus platform fee, minus shipping cost (where applicable), minus label fee (where applicable), minus GPS verification fee (where applicable), minus any return label costs deducted pursuant to EBLIT's return label policy. EBLIT does not guarantee any specific payout timeline beyond initiating the transfer upon transaction completion; actual receipt of funds depends on Stripe's transfer processing times and your bank. Payouts may be withheld via Stripe at EBLIT's direction pending dispute resolution or fraud investigation. Separately, where a refund is issued on a transaction after it has completed and your payout has already been paid, EBLIT may direct Stripe to reverse all or part of that payout to fund the refund: for a full refund, your entire payout for that transaction is reversed; for a partial refund, the amount reversed is the lesser of the refund amount and the payout you received, with EBLIT retaining its platform fee. This post-completion reversal is distinct from the withholding described above, which applies before a payout is paid.
7. Strike System
EBLIT operates a strike system to maintain platform integrity. Strikes are issued for: failure to complete a confirmed transaction; failure to ship within agreed timeframes; GPS spoofing or location fraud; identity mismatches at meetups; providing false listing information; filing false reports against other users; any violation of these Terms. Strike penalties escalate as follows: Strike 1: a warning; Strike 2: a 7-day suspension of selling and buying privileges; Strike 3: a permanent ban of the account. EBLIT reserves the right to permanently ban accounts for single serious violations including fraud, identity theft, or sale of stolen property. Strikes may be appealed through the Support system.
8. Tax Responsibilities
The Seller is solely responsible for determining and fulfilling the Seller's own income, revenue, business, and self-employment tax obligations arising from sales on EBLIT, and for any such taxes on the Seller's proceeds. EBLIT does not provide tax advice. EBLIT may be required by law to report certain transaction information to tax authorities. You agree to provide any tax information required by EBLIT upon request. Where EBLIT is required to collect sales or use tax from Buyers as a marketplace facilitator, EBLIT collects and remits that transaction tax (see the Terms of Service, Section 7). This does not relieve the Seller of the Seller's own tax obligations described above.
9. Prohibited Seller Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent ban: listing stolen property; providing false unique identifiers; attempting to conduct transactions outside the Platform with buyers met through EBLIT; creating multiple accounts after a ban; offering or accepting bribes to manipulate dispute outcomes; threatening or harassing buyers; price manipulation or shill bidding; any form of fraud or misrepresentation.
10. Seller Ratings and Reputation
Buyers may rate transactions after completion. Your seller rating is visible to potential buyers and affects your credibility on the Platform. EBLIT does not remove legitimate negative ratings. Sellers who consistently decline LiveVerify requests may see lower ratings from buyers who value this feature. EBLIT reserves the right to use seller performance data to prioritize or deprioritize listings in search results.
11. Virtual Storefront
Sellers may customize their public storefront page with a cover photo, business hours, and about section. Your storefront is publicly visible. You are responsible for all content you publish on your storefront. You may not use your storefront to direct buyers to transact outside the Platform.
12. Agreement to Terms
By completing Stripe Identity verification and Stripe Connect onboarding, you agree to this Seller Agreement in its entirety. This Seller Agreement is incorporated into and subject to EBLIT's Terms of Service.
