Seller Protection
EBLIT is built to protect legitimate sellers from fraudulent buyers, false disputes, and bad-faith transactions. Sell with confidence knowing your payout is secured before you hand over anything.
Payment Secured Before You Commit
Buyer payment is fully secured through Stripe before you are required to ship an item or show up to a meetup. You will never be asked to hand over an item without confirmed payment. The funds are held in Stripe's infrastructure — not in a buyer's promise. You ship only after payment is confirmed. You meet only after payment is confirmed.
Every Buyer is Identity Verified
Before any buyer can join your waiting list, they must complete government-ID verification through Stripe Identity. You are never transacting with an anonymous person. Every buyer's identity is cryptographically linked to the transaction, creating a permanent record of who purchased your item. This deters fraud, stolen payment methods, and bad-faith buyers from targeting your listings.
GPS-Verified Buyer Presence at Meetups
For in-person transactions, EBLIT's GPS verification confirms that the buyer is physically present at the agreed location before the transaction proceeds. You are protected from buyers who waste your time by not showing up, or who attempt to manipulate the meetup process. If a buyer fails to show up after payment, the transaction is cancelled and funds are returned — your item never leaves your hands.
Auto-Release After Delivery Confirmation
For shipping transactions, if the buyer does not raise a dispute within 12 hours of confirmed delivery, your payment is automatically released. You do not need to chase buyers for confirmation. The system works in your favor — silence equals acceptance. You receive your payout without needing any action from the buyer.
False Dispute Protection
Buyers who complete the unboxing checklist — confirming all items were received and in the described condition — cannot later dispute item functionality. The checklist is a binding acknowledgment. If a buyer files a dispute after completing the checklist, EBLIT's dispute resolution team will review the evidence and close the dispute in your favor. Buyers who file fraudulent disputes face account suspension.
Ownership Transfer on Every Sale
When a transaction completes, EBLIT generates a permanent ownership transfer record (FSH-XFER) linking the item's unique identifier to the new owner's verified identity. This protects you from buyers who later attempt to re-sell your item as their own original listing. If someone tries to relist an item you sold, EBLIT's unauthorized relist detection system flags it and notifies you.
Your Obligations as a Seller
Seller protection applies when you fulfill your obligations. Protection does not apply if:
You misrepresented the item condition or provided false photos
You provided a false or tampered unique identifier
You failed to ship within the agreed timeframe
You failed to attend a confirmed meetup
You attempted to conduct the transaction outside the EBLIT platform
Our commitment to sellers: Honest sellers who fulfill their obligations are fully protected on EBLIT. We take fraudulent buyer behavior seriously and act swiftly against buyers who abuse the platform.
